Valerian root is a useful medicinal herb that is useful for promoting sleep. Minimum of 300 mg per packet (about 600 seeds).
• Productive - Valerian germinates in 14-21 days when soil temps are 60-75°F. Plant 1/4” deep and space 18-24” apart in an area with full sun or partial shade. This variety will grow 3-5’ tall with a spread of 2-4’.Flowers will mature in 90-110 days but the root will not be ready to harvest until second year. Plant in USDA zones 4-9.
